YIDO Implements this program to fight Violence and Abuse against PLHIV and vulnerable adolescent Children and Young women
YIDO’s interventions in promoting community policing continue to excite the world.
Researchers from Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, and Columbia University discovered that there is enough evidence to suggest that the community policing interventions implemented by YIDO are resulting into more women and children reporting cases of domestic violence and Child rights violations. Universities under Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) studied the impact of policing interventions that addressed the challenge of building trust and cooperation between police and citizens in Uganda. YIDO implements community policing programs in partnership with Uganda Police.
