At YIDO, we mobilise women who are vulnerable to rights abuse and violence resulting from poverty and traditional perceptions against women  into Women enterprise groups, train them with skills in financial savings, enterprise development, business loan management and record keeping to help them gain financial freedom. Our efforts have helped women gain confidence to participate in decision making at household and community level, participate in community leadership and advocate for their rights, protect and support their children’s rights.
